The game is based on blocky graphics and pixel characters who explore territories, build different stuff, fight, etc, etc. There are many styles of costumes which you can buy or make a fun Halloween costume project for the kids. The main idea of the minecraft Halloween costume is focused on the head of the characters and all of them share the same blurred video appearance. If you decide to craft the Minecraft costume by yourself, make sure that the head is well balanced and it doesn’t move or slip.
Minecraft Halloween costumes feature different characters of the game. Steve, Creeper and Enderman are the most popular ones and costumes can be found in stores. Many people would prefer to craft the costumes by themselves and the cost will be next to nothing. The mask is the focus of the costume and to craft one you shall need cardboard boxes, glue, scissors and printable templates of the character. Print the template and glue it to the box. Make square holes for the eyes and mouth. To complete Steve’s look you will need a teal colored t-shirt and some navy blue jeans. The Creeper costume may be a bit more difficult as it would require four boxes for the head, the body and legs. Enderman looks like a skinny alien with a square box so you will need a black outfit to match to the black box head.
In addition to the Minecraft Halloween costume you need to have the right Minecraft accessories which will complete the look. The pickaxe, the sword or gun are the ones you need to craft. Again, you shall need a printable axe and sword templates which you can stick on either cardboard or onto a foam sheet. Once the template is glued, carefully cut the unnecessary foam or cardboard and you are ready to go!
