The Netherland furniture factory Leolux stimulates the imagination of many people today, with its variety of modern furniture for the lounge room.
The original factory dates from 1934 at which time it has a different name and produces classic furniture. Later it is bought by brothers Jan and Ton Sanders who turn to more modern concepts and start building the present image of the company. The next generation of directors continues their predecessors’ work while adding some of their own interpretation of things. They rely on plenty of color and stylish modern look, combined with comfort and very high quality. The Leolux company becomes a known name in the furniture market, excelling in its stunning modern lounge room furniture design.
One of the company’s outstanding works is the Morena collection. It is a collection of sofas for the modern lounge room designed by Stefan Heiliger in 2010. The main feature of the set is its sculptural form that looks as though it is elegantly flowing toward the floor. That “melting” look is seen not only between furniture and floor but between separate furniture pieces as well. The pieces can be combined together to form corner sofas perfectly connected to each other thanks to their smooth flowing lines.
This modern lounge room furniture collection is available in leather and fabric coverings for different individualities. As for the coloring – it is vivid, it is expressive and it brings an emotional wave in the space around it. The sofas come in soothing whites and grays for the more conservative people and in stunning reds or purples for the more extravagant ones. With its minimalistic look the Morena collection of modern lounge furniture will certainly be a great addition to any contemporary lounge room at home or at the office.
