Mountain home design
The mountain home is a typical rustic house featuring many modern elements that bring a warm feeling to the atmosphere.
The house is designed by Michael P. Johnson who is known to be a critique of mass consumer culture and proposes an architecture of austere abstraction and immediate aesthetic experience. The design studio is characterized with simplification that implies work whose meaning resides solely in its material components and the physicality of its construction.
Minimalist interior design
The cabin home features minimalist interiors that focus on simplicity for a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are quite attractive with their cool red chairs, custom wooden benches, built-ins and stairs.
Living room with fireplace
You can have a seat in the stunning contemporary living room with fireplace, surrounded by rustic wood benches beneath the wall-to-wall windows, and enjoy the marvelous scenery. The house was built next to a steep slope, which is cantilevered over a ravine, which allow guests to enjoy the forest views which invite the outdoors in, enhancing the home’s charming mountain chalet feel. The designer raised the cool factor with an ultra-chic avantgarde collection of ceramic tiles, by Refin Ceramiche. These tiles are the perfect finishing touch to the cabin to the design of the house.
