Let us see how zen you are! Now, we aren’t talking about meditation or the path within. More likely we talk about the path to futuristic and luxury design. Zen is the result of blending both so don’t be surprised if look at this house design with eyes wide open. It is just as marvelous as it can be! Designed by Spanish architects A-cero and located in Pozuelo de Alarcon in Madrid, Spain, this modern zen house design is made of sculptural granite and glass which stands out within its lush background. A dramatic welcome is introduced by a facade of curved walls of dark granite and marble travertine, meanwhile providing privacy and tact between the street and the house.

There is also a water feature that flows from outside to the entrance, creating a seamless transition to the interior environment. The Zen house design is built on a plot which is descending slope towards a lake, which allowed the construction of an upper and a lower terrace for outdoor living and entertaining. The terrain is pure zen as you might think, but that is what makes this house so unique. The high floor, with exterior access, and the low floor, both overlooking a wide terrace with a pergola and the garden house. A very wide and luminous hall is lined with skylights, and leads to the essence of luxury living revealed in a spacious kitchen, wine vault, dining room, lounge, office and library.
