Static house architecture design

Private client has the space for construction 600 sqm in Jakarta, Indonesia. The place is surrounded semi detached and is without physical and building typology. Customer asked the TWS & Partners Architects to make the project of garden house. Actually built area of the site is 700 sqm. Due to the limited space, the architecture is arranging two courtyards of vertical spaces that are imposed perfectly each other.

First courtyard architecture design

The first courtyard is like a buffer or transition from the public space. For this purpose, its situated on the lofty ground floor, where also is the public living room. The second courtyard is perfectly imposed on the first, for this purpose is located on the second floor of the house. Its directly connected with the master bedroom and act as interim open space of the surrounding neighborhood. To give light and air of the spaces of bottom floor of the house, the architects designed a reflecting pond.

Also, they used and glass to serve as the basis, in this way the daylight during the day is reflected in the lobby and the courtyard of the lower floor. Access to daylight and air of the room below on the second layer yard are made holes and cavities. To the requirement zoning, yard on the ground floor (first layer) is a pool, daylight also acts as a reflector of open space. For construction of the Static house are used light color scheme and materials.

Front door of the house is with special floral motifs that reflect the inner side of the yard. The floor of the public living room and dining room is made of marble, warm colors are used for the walls of the premises. Marble acts as background of the modern low white leather sofa in tandem with a glass stainless steel coffee table and ligne rosset standing lamp.

Modern minimalist dining table furnishing

Stylish wallpaper serve as elegant background of Chinese cabinet set and dining table, which is made of finished piece of natural wood slab. Combining some ethnical, classic part of decorative furnishing, using a simple minimalist style of furnitures the interior design is transformed into artwork.
