This is a house with minimalist architecture, a vacation home, located in rural Iowa. In fact, this is a project of Min Day Architecture and the house is located to the lake shore, near the old cottages, which are built there. Lake Okoboji is a part of a glacial lake system. It is quite remote from the settlements, which in turn guarantees the privacy of the owners of the beautiful house. The nature around this minimalist architecture is extremely attractive.
To build this house with minimalist architecture are used different materials and systems, such as wood-frame construction with steel structural frames, hollow-core concrete slabs, concrete, aluminum composite panels and walls, polycarbonate, plastic laminate and other advanced materials. The beauty of minimalist architecture is accentuated by stylish interiors with modern furnishings, as for these purposes are used custom furniture and fabrics by the architects.
